very unusual from google is that we have got android 11 developer preview so early this year. though android 11 developer previews maybe here for a long time that doesn't mean it's too late to draw up our own top 10 best android 11 features on our wishlist.

android 10 has brought a lot of improvements over the android 9 pie which itself was a pretty good operating system and now we are hoping that the upcoming android 11 will bring a lot of great android 11 features to us.

so with that in mind here are top 10 best android 11 features on our wishlist that we would love to see in the full version of android 11 coming later this year with google pixel 5 & google pixel 5 xl.

the gestures which have been added to android 10 are great but they have a few fatal flaws within them especially with hamburger side menus. when you try to lide the menu very often you hit the back gesture accidentally.

we think it would be great if Google could add some customization options for the back gesture in upcoming android 11 that would allow you to disable for instance the right side of the display or have a hot zone.

this android 11 features is kind of like how gestures were first added to android 10 on the oneplus devices and then subsequently removed. it would really help when navigating and allow you to get to those side menus with no issues.

some third-party apps can do system-wide clipboard managing in android and google's own G board has a clipboard manager but how about a system-wide clipboard manager in upcoming android 11 that you can scour for things you've copied and pasted in past.

if google gives us the system-wide clipboard manager in upcoming android 11 it will be a great android 11 features also the system-wide clipboard manager will be a real winner and would save us so much hassle in our day to day life.

backups really need a bit of work on android wholesale as in android there is no complete backup in the solution like we have on iOS which is a great feature that saves us a lot of time and hassle especially when we change our device.

if you are a google one subscriber then you can backup your MMS messages from the proto full backup features but it would be a great android 11 features if google is able to give us a proper wholesale backup solution.

we hope that we will get wholesale backup as an android 11 features that will allow you to control which apps services and content gets backed up. therefore google will make it much easier to switch devices or restore your device when needed.

we think it's a crying shame that we don't have a dedicated one-handed mode on google pixel phones or within the core android builds because there are so many good one-handed mode implementations from Samsung and others.

those one-handed modes are wonderful to use considering that phone screens are getting larger and the sheer volume of google's accessibility options a dedicated one-handed in upcoming android 11 features mode would be a surefire winner.

even with a voice match enabled it's incredibly frustrating not being able to use the google assistant in our google pixel device without first unlocking our google pixel device. it is a great Hassel and a great time waster.

it's about time that google remove the block in android 11 features and lets us control our smart home devices and more without needing to unlock our google pixel devices. plus it will be great for drivers making it much safer to control your phone without touching the display.

these were the top 10 best android 11 features on our wishlist that we would love to see in upcoming android 11 later this year in google pixel 5 & google pixel 5 xl. we hope that Google will refine the android operating system more and we will get a better and much more stable, feature pack, secure and enjoyable operating system.
